ustwo™ is a digital design studio that delivers pioneering user experiences as digital partner to the world’s leading brands including Sony, Sony Ericsson, H&M, BBC, Turner and J.P.Morgan. We’re boldly independent, serving our global client base from our studios in London and Malmö, Sweden and New York.
Driven by our ‘love digital’ mission, we specialise in interaction & user interface design, app development and digital entertainment. We design multi-platform experiences across mobile, tablet, TV and beyond across a range of markets including mobile, consumer electronics, retail, entertainment, medical and financial.
We’ve been in mobile and TV for over six years and have been making apps since they first learnt to walk. As well as bringing the very best in digital design and innovation to our clients, we explore and invest in new technologies by producing our own digital entertainment in the fields of gaming, apps and publishing.
The People
At ustwo™ we’re all about our family. Our studios are home to the freshest blend of talent, ranging from interaction, visual, motion & game designers to developers of all kinds. Working truly collaboratively and agile we can take a product or service design from concept to reality, right to the end user.
The rich diversity of backgrounds and experience ensure continuous challenge and development as we acquire new skills and knowledge from each other. We’re not big on rank, for us role is about an area of responsibility, and we foster an environment where every member feels confident to contribute.
Today, the ustwo™ studios have over 100 members made up of 17 nationalities (and counting) from America, Australia, Belarus, Britain, China, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Moldova, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Ukraine. This makes us truly international, offering both a local and global approach to our work.
Our Studios
Founded in 2004, we have studios in London, UK and Malmö, Sweden, with a third studio opening soon in New York. ustwo™ studios are open plan, informal environments designed to stimulate creativity, sharing and collaboration. In this environment everyone can contribute to the development and success of projects and the studio itself.
In our studios we are committed to retaining all the skill sets required for end-to-end delivery to ensure product quality and integrity. When a project requires skill sets outside ours, we are honest about it and employ established strategic partnerships. Focus on user-centered design helps us produce winning designs that meet the needs of real people.
As an independent studio, we choose our work wisely so our family can always be passionate about theirs. We believe in investing revenues back into the growth of the studios because exploration, experimentation and investment in talent, process, tools, environment and culture mean we will remain the Studio of Dreams™.
